Vintage Copper Lightening Rod Green Patina Tri Pod Milk glass Moon & Stars Ball

Hello, you are looking at a lightening rod that is antique and was found on a very old house. The rod itself measures 31" long and is made of solid brass. It has turned a green patina from age. It was held up by a tri pod shaped brace that is 19" tall and made of iron. This piece is very weathered and rusty. Also in this listing is the lightening ball which is white milk glass and has a moon and stars pattern. Both ends are chipped up from where they removed in from the mold. One end has dark colors either from years of rust or from lightening itself. The ball measures just slightly over 4" in diameter. It is 5" in height and in perfect condition. Enclosed also in this listing one of the clips that originally held the wire that ran down the side of the lightening rod and a sample of the wire. The wire sample is really cool to see as it is made out of stands of cooper all put together into one large braid of wire. I have more than 1 of these if you are interested and all are in the same condition.
