    Description

    This is a Vintage Antique 1900's Lightning Rod. It is Copper with a Cast Iron. Typically these were on a Farm Barn. The copper measures about 46.5”. This one is unusual that it has been shot with a BB gun or small caliber bullet and the projectile actually pierced the copper rod. These rods usually had glass balls on them and were a favorite target of naughty farm boys. I’ve never seen one with a wound on it before. Thanks for looking.
