Victorian Gothic Spiral Lightning Rod & Spiral Stand For Display Ball Home. You are probably going to have to close the rod holder rings a little bit to hold the gothic rod in securely. This spiral rod is approximately 69” tall including its point. The stand is spiral too and all three feet are good, not broken. Nothing is perfectly brand new straight as my photos show. The point is slightly blunt as shown. It is approximately 120 years old give or take and has been used on top of an old barn or farmhouse.
