    Description

    Rare American rooster weathervane circa 1880s
    attributed to LW Cushing & Son.
    Original color and form.
    Acquired in 1991 at the Cleveland Case Western Antique Show.
    Molded copper with cast metal legs.
    Great patina with partially gilded feathers tail and legs ; well molded details.
    Traces of red paint on comb & wattle .
