Tonight we are listing for sale another item from my Grandfathers estate and what we have here
IS AN OLD ORIGINAL 1920's - 1930's METAL TIPPED LIGHTENING ROD REMOVED FROM HIS BARN.......
This lightweight rod features a 3 legged base that was nailed to the highest peak on the barns roof, and the rod extends to a full 87 inches.....
The metal tipped rod is very sharp as I remember him telling me that the sharper the tip, the more protection from a lightening strike.....(
something in the molecules of lightening makes lightening more attracted to sharp objects)
....
Anyway, this is the real deal, and would look great on any old victorian home.....
