Hampshire Hog Pig Lightning Rod Decoration Directional

Offered is a
Hampshire hog topper for a lightning rod, or other shaft
The pig is  9 1/4 inches long about about 5 1/2 inches tall
The arrow is 23 3/8 inches long
The hole at the bottom is approximately 5/16 inch in diameter
The piece is marked on the metal beneath the pig, I can make out the middle two words which are "metal studies".  I cannot make out the first word, nor the year which is the last thing in this metal stamp.
I do not know it's age.
