Antique LIGHTNING ROD w/brass 11 point star, copper ball, brass rod, c.i. stand

This sale is for an antique lightning rod consisting of a brass 11 point star, a brass rod, a copper ball, and a 3-legged cast iron stand. The 11 point star is in very good shape and has been polished. I gently tried to remove the star from the brass rod, but it wouldn't budge & I didn't want to force it. The rod is also brass and has been cleaned; not professionally. The copper ball has also been cleaned and has a number of dents (see pictures). The cast iron stand has 3 legs and has a design to its length. It has also been cleaned to remove its rust. A clear, spray finish was applied to the entire piece. Its overall height is about 69". Consider my pictures as part of my description.
