    Absolutely fantastic 1880s - 1900 copper scrolled banner weather vane.
    Southington, Connecticut find.
    Old silver paint over copper, Zoom up and notice that excellent surface!
    This piece has gained a beautiful / surface patina over its long life of 100+ years. There is bullet holes and patina that really give it a charming personality.
    Extra large size measuring approx 40'' wide x 14'' tall
    Banners are one of the earliest motifs of the weather vane and the most persistent.
