1. Hold tube and pull out handle until boring head reaches end of tube.
2. Insert auger into toilet bowl with boring head facing trap.
3. Turn handle clockwise, pushing wire down through tube until boring head reaches obstruction. (Note: to prevent damaging porcelain, do not use excessive force.)
4. Continue turning handle until blockage is cleared.
5. Hold onto tube while pulling up handle to remove boring head from bowl.
6. Flush toilet.
7. Wash auger and tube, air dry and oil tool before storing.
